The Fringe:
Part Jazz, Part Hip Hop, Part Poetry and Part Electronica vibrations inspires J Reynolds (4 Track All Stars) and Nick Barrows (Rockets on Bibles) to bring their latest effort. The Divine Prince Hakiym of the Lyrical Insurrection Artist Showcase and the Cincinnati Chapter of the Hip Hop Congress continues to prove his impeccable poetic talents from 2003 to the present. Known for bring down lyrical heroes such as the Grammy Award winning "The Last Poets" and several of HBO's Def Poets, Hakiym not only educated and illuminates the minds of his peers, but also spends most of his time educating at-risk youth in low-income areas in Cincinnati encouraging education programs in ART and Literacy.

Cincinnati's conscious Hip Hop Congress Chairman the Divine Prince Hakiym merges an awe-aspiring Jazz Band and National Slam Artists creating a powerful paradigm for the mind. Lyrical Insurrection, voted Cincinnati's Best Open Mic in Cincinnati Magazine in 2006 and Best "Aural Pleasures" by CityBeat in 2007 continues to amaze audiences of every walk of life. Soul Verses is an amazing collaboration with Eagle to Squirrel, mad Free-Form, Improv, and Electronica Jazz duo to Cincinnati's underground arts scene. SoulVerses is a sincere attempt to deliver verbal and musical empowerment to the masses topped with the pleasure of being ultimately relaxed.
